ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) Bills offensive tackle Mike Williams missed practice Wednesday because of a neck injury and could miss Buffalo's game at New England this weekend.

Coach Mike Mularkey said Williams is considered day to day, but added team doctors have not cleared the player for practice. Williams is listed as questionable.

Mularkey described Williams as being sore, and that he's been working out in the pool in an attempt to loosen up.

Williams would only say, ''I'm doing good,'' before practice.

Williams provided a scare when his head was immobilized on a stretcher and he was driven off the field in an ambulance in the third quarter of Buffalo's 22-17 win over the New York Jets on Sunday.

He was hurt when he fell awkwardly to the ground after being hit while helping Jonas Jennings block defensive end Shaun Ellis. Williams was wearing a neck brace, but walking on his own in the locker room after the game.

The Bills (3-5) have won three of their last four game heading to New England (7-1) on Sunday.

Buffalo's offensive line has been in flux all season because of injuries. Center Trey Teague returned Sunday after missing four games with a left knee injury, while Jennings missed two games last month because of an ankle injury.

Starting cornerback Troy Vincent is showing little progress after missing five games with a right knee injury. Vincent practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, and remains questionable.

No. 3 receiver Josh Reed (left knee) and backup safety Coy Wire (abdomen) are doubtful.
